We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Production Artist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining design, production, and problem-solving to ensure visual assets are accurate, functional, and production-ready.
Position Summary
The Digital Press Supervisor plays a critical role in preparing and managing graphic assets created by our designer that are used throughout our production workflow. This position is responsible for creating and proofing a variety of printed and digital products and managing dealines and workflows for our press and output team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically proficient, and capable of balancing creativity with production accuracy.
This role works closely with company leadership to understand and execute the overall visual direction and messaging of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain graphic assets for use in production workflows.
- Create and format functional products such as student ID cards, proof sheets, certificates, and other school-related materials.
- Review and proof marketing materials, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand compliance.
- Collaborate directly with team members to ensure on-time accurate production from the press team.
- Ensure all files meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Perform image adjustments, layout modifications, and file preparation for print and digital output.
- Identify and correct design, formatting, and production issues before final release.
- Maintain organized file structures and production documentation.
- Support continuous improvements to production processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in production art, graphic design, print production, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of print production processes and file preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with variable data, high-volume production environments, or school photography products is a plus.
